Inspiration (a person or thing that inspires) Synonyms: influence, muse, stimulus, stimulation, motivation, motivating force, encouragement, catalyst; example, model, guiding light.

I have created this artefact with the hope of contributing to the vast project that is inclusivity and social justice in UAL. This project will be produced by the intervention of the collectivity of contributors. The aim is to develop an awareness of the importance of the participation of the community and its contribution through its diversity. This quote refers to the world being full of different perspectives and if I related to my practice, it encourages the creation and marks the relevance of an inclusive decolonised education environment:

In the world of the powerful there is room only for the big and their helpers. In the world we want, everybody fits. The world we want is a world in which many worlds fit.”

My artefact is aimed to decolonize the curriculum (focused on Graphic Design) by offering an interactive world map of inspiration. This artefact has been created so each participant can include first-hand knowledge, which will be included in the pool and shared by the community. . In addition, this artefact will expand and inform our limited individual understanding of graphic design. The map will allow students to learn about different role models, which could encourage their self-actualisation.
